  • Does Schwind's have a catalog?

At this time, we do not have a catalog.  However, we do have a condensed product list.  Although this list does not include all of our products, it will give you an idea of what we offer.

  • Can you ship my order to a P.O. Box?

Due to the fact that many of our items are perishable, our delivery carriers will not ship to a P.O. Box. 

  • Can you accept international orders to be shipped?

Schwind's only ships within the United States.  We can not accept orders outside of the U.S.

  • How do I know if my order has been shipped?

Depending upon the shipping carrier you choose, you may be notified directly by them when your shipment goes out, (i.e. UPS sends out email notification when orders are shipped).  Schwind's will also notify you through your email address provided, when your shipment has been picked up.

  • How soon can I expect my order to go out?

Due to the fact that we are shipping perishable goods, Schwind's can only ship out orders on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.  In order to ensure that your items arrive fresh, shipping time can not iclude weekends.  For example, if you place an order on a Thursday or Friday, your order can not be shipped until the following week.  If you have any questions on when your order will go out, you can always contact our store directly.

  • Why is shipping so expensive?

To ensure that your orders arrive fresh, we must charge a handling fee on every order to cover the costs of coolers and dry ice / ice packs.  Keep in mind that many of these items can be re-used.  Also, remember that shipping costs are calculated according to weights.  The heavier your products are, the more your shipping expense will be.  But the most important thing to keep in mind is that you need your food to arrive as fresh & cold as it was when it left our store, so getting it you in a timely manner is important!

  • Can I request an exact delivery date for my order?

If you need to have an order delivered by a certain date, then you must select an express delivery method.  Otherwise, your order eill arrive in the normal 5-7 business days.

  • Can my order be delivered to me on the weekend?

Schwind's does not have the option to deliver any orders on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

  • What do I do if I receive my order & it is damaged or spoiled?

If there is a problem with your order when you receive it, you must contact us within 24 hours.  We will contact the carrier to find out what may have happened & do our best to accomodate your problem.  If an order is damaged or spoiled or does not arrive, due to an incorrect address provided by you, we will not be responsible for replacing the items or for refunding your costs.  We will be happy to ship another order with the same contents, at additional costs to you. Please be sure to enter the correct address when placing your order.

  • Are your perishable items such as sausage, shipped fresh or frozen?

All of our perishable products are fully cooked and vacuum sealed to ensure product protection and quality. However,  all items are made fresh daily.

  • What are your hours of operation?

Our normal business hours are Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00pm, Saturday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, closed on Sunday & Monday.  During holiday weeks, our hours & days of operation may vary, so be sure to contact us to find out about any changes.

  • Do you accept credit cards?

We gladly accept cash, Visa, Mastercard & checks as forms of payment. All internet orders must be paid for by credit card.

  • I am uncomfortable putting my credit card information on line.  Is there any way I can still place an order?

Absolutely!  Once you have your shopping cart filled, print out a copy of what you would like.  You can then call in the order to our store at 973-627-0956 and personally give us your credit card information.

  • How much notice do you need to place a special order, such as a catering order?

Schwind's requests that you notify us of any special orders at least 5 business days before your pick-up date.  This will ensure that we will have all the ingredients fresh & ready to prepare your order.
